Day 50 - Oct. 23rd I rode 40 miles from Ville Platte to Lebeau LA. in light rain and about 52 degrees to start.  The cool weather and light rain were a nice change from past conditions.  I actually got lost several times trying to navigate from my map so I actually rode more then 40 today.  By the way...there are no counties in Louisiana - instead they have Parishes like Beauregard Parish, Evangeline Parish etc....  Once I arrived at my stop for the day I was met by Melinda Taylor (Executive Director), Myrtis Ashley (Development Director) and Fawn Victor (Volunteer Coordinator) of the Lafayette LA. Habitat affiliate.  We were taken to a great dinner of Cajun food and music and had a great time!
