Day 46 - Oct. 19th was a great day to ride as the weather was in the 70's with generally good conditions.  I did 70 miles in 6 hours!!  I left Texas when I cross over the Sabine River which is the border between Texas and Louisiana.  Texas is about one third of the total trip between California and Florida.  We left 46 days ago and have 27 days left with a planned arrival in St. Augustine on Nov. 15th.  I expect 2 to 3 other riders to join me for the last 300 miles between Tallahassee to St. Augustine.  Texas was a great bike ride of 1100 miles in all types of weather and people.  We have had great Habitat visits and look to have some great one's still to come!  I am now headed to Lafayette LA. and only have 1100 miles left....I can almost smell the Atlantic Ocean.
