Day 26/27 - Sept. 28th and 29th I am totally exhausted today and hit a wall yesterday. I ended yesterday in Sanderson and Team Bob along with myself decided that I need to take a break on today. I sept 13 hours last night along with some napping today which is making me start to feel better. I am expecting to start out again tomorrow working towards Del Rio Texas which is 120 miles away.
Sanderson Tx. is a small town of 800 with not a lot of businesses or services. The Border Patrol is the main employer along with highway and railroad workers. There are also 300 visiting workers in the area who are exploring for oil via seismic research and plain ole drilling. The oil exploration is a small boon for the town as they have sold out all the hotels and trailers have been set up as they expect to be here in the coming years. This is a pretty isolated place.
