Day 62 (Rode 107 miles today!!)

Day 62 - Nov. 5th I had great weather with relatively flat roads and ended up riding 2 miles past my personal best as I did 107 miles!!!  I passed over Alligator Creek which was a pretty scary looking swamp.  The picture below does not do justice to how scary it was!  I ended my day in Chipley Flordia as I was worn out.   With only 83 miles left to Tallahassee....I am looking at taking Friday off to rest and then I have an 8:30am visit with the Tallahassee Habitat.

I also want to take a moment to thank one of the many people that have assisted me on this journey.  Before I started, Barbara suggested I meet with Robert Rudelic who is a Medical Exercise Specialist and Neuro-Muscular Therapist.  He has helped Barbara earlier in the year with an ankle injury and when nothing else worked along with helping several other friends.  In addition he is a peak performance coach for many professional athletes.  Robert designed a diet, positive thinking and physical therapy program that is significantly responsible for the success of this ride.  Thank you Robert!!  www.powertapping.com

He also introduced me to Cytomax and Musclemilk both products of Cytosport (Sponsor!)  I think the Musclemilk every morning and the Cytomax after each ride which has helped my stay heathy and strong for this ride.
